About
Viet Dung Nguyen earned his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 2017. He gained industry experience as a full-time research engineer at Viettel High Tech before pursuing his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Kansas in 2019. He recently completed his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 2023. Currently, he holds the position of Lead Software Engineer at Orthopaedic Innovation Technology Center, Inc. in Knoxville, Tennessee, focusing on integrating machine learning into biomechanics research.
